Alberta Rotarians raising Funds for Earthquake Relief

ROTARY CLUB INTERNATIONAL, GOVERNMENT OF ALBERTA (Canada) & SHELTERBOX CANADA FUNDRAISING EFFORT FOR THE EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN CHINA

Dead studentThis message has also been forwarded to my international Rotary Club colleagues on LinkedIn.com (social networking website for business professionals). To connect with Rotarians from around the world, please encourage your Rotary colleagues to join my group at:http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/38448/590505166A06

In today's world of instantaneous communications and with the revolution in social networking, I believe we can ramp up this fundraising effort on a global scale very quickly. As you are aware, the earthquake in China has left over 5.5 million people homeless and over 80,000 dead. We need to act on this fundraising initiative as quickly as possible. Without food and shelter, many people will perish. I hope that my fellow Rotary colleagues will take this opportunity to demonstrate our mantra, "Service Above Self", to the world community unequivocally and forcefully.
